Rumi, our 2 year old Plotthound, has stayed with MWV Petsitters several times. Rumi had been a stray and it was the first time we would be leaving him behind in the year since we had him. He was in great health when we returned, calm and well cared for. The next two times we left him with Michelle, it was like visiting an old friend. It was,'Well, great! Here I am again.' He was all tail wagging and big dog smiles. He LOVED it there. Michelle does a wonderful job with her pets, giving them the run of the house, regular walks and..most important of all, real love and affection.  She really CARES for the animals. She's now Rumi's 'Home away from home', and...lucky Rumi!!!!  Lucky us!

My wife and I recently visited N. Conway for the first time on a Holiday Shopping Vacation.  Our hotel overbooked our pet friendly room and recommended we call MWV Petsitters to care for our 2 dogs and cat.  Unfortunately, they did not have any availability.  Michelle suggested Karla's Pet Rendezvous.  My wife called and spoke with Lisa.  I was shocked to learn that our pets would be left for 12-14 hours overnight without any supervision or opportunity to relieve themselves.  I thought my wife misunderstood.  So, she asked for clarification.  Lisa indicated it was not uncommon for pets to hold themselves for that long.  She went on further to say that our pets could relieve themselves in their pen and accidents would be cleaned up the next morning when staff arrives.  My wife called a local vet to inquire about any health risk that may arise out of leaving pets to hold themselves for such a long period of time.  This is NOT pet care to me.  These are doctors' office hours!  I was sooooo angry with Michelle's suggestion.  My wife called her immediately.  Michelle conducted herself with the utmost of professionalism and remained calmed (even though we were not).  She made every effort to justify certain types of pet facilities.  In the end, Michelle felt so badly she moved mountains(no pun intended).  Our pets stayed with MWV Petsitters in Michelle's home with Lottie and their foster dog Marcy.  We know our pets slept well that evening and so did we!  Thanks a million for saving our Holiday Vacation.  Shalom!

We have nothing but praise for Michelle and MWV Petsitters! She is incredibly organized, professional, and does everything to make your pet comfortable!  Thanks to Michelle we were able to leave our Casey on the weekends and enjoy the excellent XC ski season.  Casey always had a wonderful time - in fact, we are not so sure she wouldn't rather have stayed at Michelle's house when we came to get her. We wish all dogs could have such wonderful people taking care of them!

When my husband and I travel, whenever possible, we take our two beloved Shih Tzu dogs.  They are very precious to us.  We were going to the North Conway area and my husband was going to go skiing with friends.  I wanted to have a little time to myself to get pampered and do some shopping but that can be difficult with dogs, no matter how well behaved.  We were given the name of Michelle from MWV Petsitters from Stonehurst Manor, the Inn we were staying at.  I made arrangements with Michelle for a day of pet sitting.  I was told there would be no cages, my pups would go into her home and be free to do whatever.  I was thrilled – that is certainly preferred treatment for our little darlings.  When I told my husband about it, I could tell he was very nervous even though he would not admit it to me.  Michelle offered to pick up and drop off which was definitely an added convenience.  Michelle came to our room and I immediately felt at ease (I had been a little nervous as well).  I could tell Michelle had a way with my pets  and my pups took to her very quickly.  Off they went and off I went to do my thing…well, six hours later, my little girls were driven back to me and when they saw me acted very calm and very happy.    If you are a dog owner, you know that is a good thing – that means they were very well taken care of  - they did not act frantic or nervous.   The pups came in and immediately took naps.  I learned they had a very busy day, walking, playing and visiting a farm.  It was a very positive experience and I will definitely use MWV Petsitters again when we are up in the area.

Our dogs loved staying with Michelle!  Stormy and Jolie stayed with MWV Petsitters while we were snowskiing.  When Michelle picked them up for daycare on the second day of our trip, the dogs couldn't wait to say hello and get into Michelle's van- even Jolie who is both blind and deaf!  Knowing our pets were so happy made it easy for us to enjoy our days on the slopes.

The idea of leaving my 9 year old dog for several weeks made me very nervous. Michelle was so reassuring and helpful that I knew Molly would be in good hands. Michelle was wonderful with Molly – very loving, caring and patient despite all the attention Molly requires. I would certainly call on Michelle and MWV Petsitters again the next time I am looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.

We had plans to visit N Conway and had reserved a space at a kennel for our Jazzy.  When we arrived at the kennel, saw all the dogs and heard all the barking, we couldn't bare leaving her.  We called the Chamber of Commerce and MWV Petsitters was recommended highly.  We met with Michelle in her home and felt more than comfortable leaving our baby.   When we returned to take Jazzy home, she didn't even acknowledge our presence!   See you next year!
